Wow Art: Hervé Alexandre - When art is sailing around the World

Hervé ALEXANDRE, a french artist loves traveling worldwide but he also enjoys when his art is traveling. Two of his friends Lydie and Bruno, have left France is october 2023 on a sail boat bringing one of his paintings, representing a young lady. So far, the two sailors have explored the Atlantic Ocean visiting many countries in Europe, Africa, South America and Carribean countries, a total of around 20 countries and territories. When reach a new island, they like to show the portrait to the local population and take pictures in artistic situations. At sea, the portrait is watching at the boat like a madonna or a gardian angel.

They are now at one third of their trip which is far from being over. They left for a total trip of five years. They exprience a key step of their journey crossing the Panama canal from Atlantic Ocean to the Pacific Ocean. They just left the San Blas islands in Panama and will directly cross the Ocean to French Polynesia where Herve may join them later. The funny thing is that this painting presently in Panama will meet another Hervé’s painting presently exhibited in Panama gallery for the 3rd Bienal Internacional of Arte Visuales in Panama City. One painting left slowly France seventeen months ago, the other one, being a digital artwork traveled much faster in few seconds. They are now together again few thousand kilometers from their original home.
At the end, Hervé’s painting will be travelled during five years, visiting dozens of countries, sailing on all World oceans and been seen by thousands of local art lovers.

Regarding his traveling art, Hervé stated:
Often I am dreaming about my portrait sailing on oceans. I am always wondering where it is. Sometimes I am wishing I could be traveling with it
